4.80% 7-month CD at Pan American Bank
Pan American Bank has a really fantastic short-term CD: Their 7-month CD is yielding 4.80% APY. This deal doesn’t seem to be mentioned on their website, but you can see a discussion of it at Bank Deals Blog, which states that the CD has a minimum of $500. The CD must be purchased in-branch.
Pan American Bank has three branches: two in Chicago at 2627 West Cermak and 6232 North Pulaski, and one at 2801 St. Charles Rd. in Bellwood.
