CDs up to 3.50% at Evergreen Private Bank
Evergreen Private Bank has a number of relatively high CDs available:
- 2-year CD: 2.85% APY
- 30-month CD: 3.00% APY
- 3-year CD: 3.10% APY
- 4-year CD: 3.30% APY
- 5-year CD: 3.50% APY
These CDs all have a minumum deposit of $1000. Evergreen Bank Group also offers the CDARS Program, which provides FDIC insurance for Certificates of Deposit for up to $50,000,000; contact them for more information on that.

Evergreen Private Bank has a number of CDs that are earning some very competitive rates, topping out at 4.00%:
- 5-month CD: 3.60% APY
- 12-month CD: 3.70% APY
- 15-month CD: 3.80% APY
- 24-month CD: 3.90% APY
- 36-month CD: 4.00% APY
These CDs all have $10,000 minimums. Through Evergreen Private Bank’s CDARS Program, they can provide FDIC insurance for Certificates of Deposit for up to $50 million. Some of the CDs are also available with a $1000 minimum, but those that are available return .30% less.

4.00% short-term CDs at Evergreen Private Bank
Evergreen Private Bank has a few short-term CDs that are earning 4.00% APY or slightly above:
- 5-month CD: 4.05%
- 12-month CD: 4.00%
- 15-month CD: 4.00%
These CDs all have $10,000 minimums. Through Evergreen Private Bank’s CDARS Program, they can provide FDIC insurance for Certificates of Deposit for up to $50 million. The CDs are also available with a $1000 minimum, but they will only earn 3.75% APY.

4.75% 3-Month CD and more at Evergreen Private Bank
Given the recent 1.25% drop in the Fed rates, it’s nice to see that Evergreen Private Bank still has some good short-term CDs:
- 3-month CD at 4.75% APY
- 5-month CD at 4.50% APY
- 6-month CD at 4.50% APY
- 12-month CD at 4.50% APY
All these CDs have $1000 minimum. For very large deposits, Evergreen Private Bank also offers the CDARS Program, which spreads deposits among other banks to providing FDIC insurance for Certificates of Deposit for up to $50 million.

CDs up to 5.35% APY at Evergreen Private Bank
Evergreen Private Bank has some very good CD rates for those who have $10,000 to invest:
- 5-month CD at 5.35% APY
- 12-month CD at 5.20% APY
- 15-month CD at 5.10% APY
With a $1000 minimum deposit instead, the 5-month CD drops to 5.00% APY, and the 12-month CD drops to 4.85% APY. (The 15-month is apparently only available with a $10k deposit.)

Free iPod Nano or $200 for opening Evergreen Private Bank checking account
Evergreen Private Bank had an ad in Sunday’s Chicago Tribune advertising a number of their deals, and one of the best ones is this: Open an EPB Cornerstone Checking Account with direct deposit, and receive either a free iPod Nano or $200 account credit. The Cornerstone Checking Account is a nice checking account on its own, with a $1 minimum and paying (for now) 3% above $1000, 4% above $10,000, and 5% above $15,000. The account also reimburses all ATM fees up to $20/month. The biggest hitch: “If promotional checking account is closed within 6 months, $150 fee will apply.”
