CD rates up to 4.98% at AM Community Credit Union
Over the border in Southeast Wisconsin, AM Community Credit Union is offering a three CDs that have very good rates:
- 8-month CD at 4.84% APY
- 14-month CD at 4.93% APY
- 26-month CD at 4.98% APY
These CDs all require a $5000 minimum. The CDs are also available with a $500 minimum, but you’ll lose 10 or 11 basis points.
AM Community Credit Union is open to anyone who lives or works in Wisconsin’s Kenosha County or Racine County, both just north of the Illinois border, as well as all Chrysler employees. AM Community has four locations: Three in Kenosha and one in Racine.
25-Month, 5.25% CD at a Wisconsin Credit Union
For those who live in the far north Chicago suburbs: AM Community Credit Union is offering a 25-month CD that earns 5.25% APY. The minimum on this CD is $5000. AM Community CU is also offering a 15-month CD that earns 5.20% APY, again with a $5000 minimum.
